Garth Shaw has spent a lifetime in the music business. After paying his dues, he moved on to working with headlining acts. He has been road manager for Sawyer Brown, Starland Vocal Band, and probably his most
notable position was road manager for Kenny Rogers. While working for Kenny, Garth also played a role in The Gambler movie.
From road manager, Garth expanded his music industry involvement by forming Singing Roadie Music Group, an ASCAP and BMI affiliated music publishing company. He has taken on the roles of songplugger and music publisher, as well as being a songwriter. Through these endeavors, Garth has gained song cuts with Kenny Rogers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Hoyt Axton, Lee Greenwood, Ronna Reeves, Taylor Made, and others.
After years of working with other recording artists, Garth has finally released his own album, The Original Singing Roadie Rides Again! Vol. II.
